Every time Meghan Markle steps out in public, all eyes are on what she's wearing, and most of her chosen clothing items sell out almost instantly. One such piece was a pair of flats by designer Sarah Flint called The Lily. After the Duchess of Sussex was spotted wearing the black shoes several times starting in 2016, fans snatched them all up. That is until now. The brand just announced they're re-launching the famous style for the first time in three years.
"The Lily was originally part of our FW16 collection, and after a great response and overwhelming requests from customers (via email, DMs, calls, etc.), we're thrilled to be bringing it back," Sarah Flint told Departures. "The Lily is designed with handwoven ties, extra padding, and soft nappa leather, making it the ultimate day to night style."
We also can't help but notice this comfort-meets-versatile style makes for a pretty stellar travel shoe. Markle was spotted wearing the shoes while out walking in the city, pairing them with jeans for one look and a little black dress for the other.
And The Lily isn't the only pair of Sarah Flint shoes the royal owns. She's also donned the brand's Perfect Pump and caused a media frenzy when wearing the Natalie Flat for her first official outing with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games. The shoes quickly sold out, proving the "Markle Sparkle" was in full effect.
Another royal, Princess Eugenie, also loves Sarah Flint and wore the same Perfect Pumps while in London this past June. Numerous celebrities including Karlie Kloss, Lady Gaga, Hilary Duff, and Rebecca Romijn rocked the heels, while Jane Fonda, Karlie Kloss, Amal Clooney, Blake Lively are all adamant fans of the direct-to-consumer shoe brand.
